In 2021, former President Donald Trump is recorded asking the Georgia Secretary of State to find more votes to win the election.

Secretary Brad Raffensperger is now trying to prove this year's election is secure.

"I just want you to find 11,780 votes," said Trump.

Trump blasted Raffensperger repeatedly when he refused.

Testing is expected to be complete next week in Georgia, with roughly 10 counties left to go. Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger says these checks are very important.

"My job is to make sure we have fair and honest elections for everyone," said Raffensperger.

Election workers are currently running sample ballots through each machine in every county, testing to make sure selections and counts are correct.

"We haven't run into anything so far that is like wrong with the machine. In 145 counties at this point, there's been nothing anomalist with anything we've run into," said Chris Bellew with the Georgia Secretary of State's Office election division.

The state offers 17 days of early voting, including two Saturdays. It is state law that lines have to be shorter than one hour on election day.

"Accuracy is really important, and then obviously the other things that's important that people need to understand in Georgia. We are recognized as one of the top states for election integrity," said Raffensperger.
