Bradley County and Cleveland City Schools are partnering with ATS The Bridge to raise awareness in students about the dangers of substance abuse, vaping, and opioids.
The schools hope to empower youth with the knowledge and skills needed to make informed decisions by creating a safe and supportive environment.
Jared Waldrop with ATS The Bridge stated:
"We believe that prevention is key, and through partnerships like these, we can make a real difference in the lives of students. Our goal is to provide them with the tools and knowledge necessary to navigate the challenges of substance misuse."
The focused campaign will address the dangers of vaping with public service announcements, social media strategies, and community events.
They say the approach aims to reach students through channels they already engage with.
School leaders will host an event to kickstart the campaign at the PIE Center Compass Assembly on February 13 from 9:00 to 11:00 am.
