The Coolidge National Medal of Honor Heritage Center has announced the funeral details of Captain Larry Taylor who passed away on January 28 at 81-years-old.
Captain Taylor will be laid to rest on Wednesday, February 7.
It will begin with a closed memorial service at 2:00 pm at the Coolidge National Medal of Honor Heritage Center. Only family, invited guests, and dignitaries will be in attendance.
The family then invites all veterans, veterans groups, and the public to help honor and pay tribute by lining the streets as his procession leaves the Heritage Center on route to the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
They expect the procession to leave at 2:45pm and to travel down Market Street to East MLK Boulevard / Bailey Avenue before turning on Holtzclaw Avenue.
The interment service with full United States Military honors for Captain Taylor is scheduled for 3:30pm at the Armed Forces Pavilion.
The service will end with a 21-gun salute, an Army Apache helicopter flyover, and the playing of Echo Taps.
A private graveside service will be held afterwards for the family.
