Police say a man and woman plucked the low-hanging fruit of a car left running. They should have known their extended use of the stolen vehicle would eventually land them in front of a camera, somewhere.

It did and the pictures we have could lead you to Crime Stoppers cash.

"The victim left the vehicle running, but took the keys with him and took the key fob inside, thinking that the vehicle could not be stolen," said Chattanooga Police Sgt. Victor Miller. It was early September 15th at the North Chattanooga Circle K. Turns out, this type of vehicle can be driven away and that's what police say this duo did. "After that, they went on a joyride," Sgt. Miller continued. "They went to multiple locations and attempted use the credit cards and debit cards inside the vehicle. Luckily, the victim had already alerted the bank. So, those transactions were declined."

The story does not end there.

"Later that night, just after 10 o'clock in the same area, the victim happened to be in that area looking for the vehicle and what did they see? The suspects were driving the vehicle in the same 900 block of Dallas Road," Miller added.

The neighborhood may be key to finding the white male and female. The convenience store is just south of Chattanooga High School Center for Creative Arts (CCA) and Normal Park Museum Magnet School and just north of where Dallas Road becomes North Market Street.

"If you saw these suspects in the area, they obviously frequent that area," Sgt. Miller said. "They used the credit cards in the area and they were found again, later that day, in that same area. So, if you live in that area look at these people. If you happen to see them somewhere else, maybe we are able to get their transactions, maybe they use their own debit or credit card at a location; you see them at a store, for example."

The clearest picture is of the female. She has a medium build and height. "And she has a distinctive hair," said Miller. "It stands out. It looks like it's dyed either red or pink. And also the clothes that she was wearing. This is a very good photo so once you see her, if you know her, you know her."

Your good tip could lead you to up to $1,000 cash reward.

The good news is, she will never know you got involved because we will never ask you for your name.
