Sunday, members of the Chattanooga Fire Department and Chattanooga Police Department took on an area high school basketball team to raise money for a good cause.

Both police and firefighters played a basketball game against the Brainerd High School varsity team.

The game was played as a way of raising food and money to help local families have a Thanksgiving meal.

Those who attended the game were asked to bring canned goods or non-perishable food items to donate as an entry fee.

The Brainerd High Panthers picked up the win against the first responders.

If you would like to make a food donation, just contact Brainerd High School at 423-855-2615.
