Local 3's Paul Shahen found a slice of paradise in Bryant, AL. He found it because of a dose of pure southern hospitality.
During the January 2024 snow/ice storm, more than 10 vehicles were stranded on mountain icy roads because the interstate was shutdown and GPS rerouted drivers. They were from out of town and didn't realize how bad conditions were about to get.
That's where the southern hospitality comes into play. Brent Hill, owner of Paradise Pointe in Bryant, Alabama opened his 19 rental cabins to those stranded drivers, now new friends from across the country.
To not let the good deed go unnoticed, we took a trip to Paradise Pointe and the views can rival anything Paul has seen in the Southeast to date.
Within 35 minutes from downtown Chattanooga, we thought you'd like to see it as well. You can visit their site to view/book HERE.
